iLab Europe Site Maintenance

On Saturday April 20th, 2024 at 12:00 AM (UTC), we will be performing a necessary, unscheduled site maintenance on the iLab Europe server instance and API.

iLab Europe iLab Europe Server Migration

On Sunday February 14th, 2021 at 2:00 PM (CET), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be migrating the iLab Europe server instance onto the Agilent Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with PAN Fail-Over. This will increase efficiency and be more secure than the previous instance and affect all iLab sites on the Europe server. Migration is expected for 2 hours, with approximately 1 hour of downtime at the start.

[Sunday February 14th; 3:45 PM (CET)] - Maintenance completed and all sites are operational.

DCX Server Maintenance - Multiple Instances

On Saturday February 13th, 2021 at 8 AM (UTC), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Engineers will be making updates on the DCX environment hosting the following Agilent databases:

  • iLab Australia
  • iLab Stanford instance
  • iLab Status Page instance
  • iLab Content Management instance
  • iLab ERP Integration File instance
  • Agilent CrossLab Connect Portal

Maintenance is planned for 2 hours and during this time, some content and sites may not be available. iLab content can include image logos, images in descriptions, linked documents and status site.

iLab Australia iLab Australia Server DNS Update

On Friday February 12th, 2021 at 2 AM (AEDT), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Data Network Team will be conducting a correction DNS change as a follow-up to the Server Migration last weekend.

Maintenance is planned for 3 hours and during this time, there should be no impact on the user side.

[Friday February 12th; 3:05 AM (AEDT)] - DNS update completed and all sites are operational.

CrossLab CrossLab Portal Vulnerability Patch

On Thursday February 11th, 2021 at 8 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be conducting a vulnerability patch on the CrossLab Portal production server. Maintenance is planned for 10 minutes and during this time, about 5 minutes of site downtime is expected.

[Thursday February 11th; 8:55 AM (U.S. EST)] - Patch on servers have been completed and site is operational.

iLab Australia iLab Australia Server Migration

iLab Catalog Database Server Issues

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 2:35 PM (U.S. EST)] - Errors have been found on the server hosting the iLab requisitioning and storeroom features.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 3:00 PM (U.S. EST)] - Agilent Site Reliability Engineers notified of server errors and have begun investigation.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - Agilent Site Reliability Engineers have identified the issue causing the errors and are working to restore server load.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:15 PM (U.S. EST)] - Engineers have restarted the passengers on the server.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - iLab requisitioning functions should be available for users.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:55 PM (U.S. EST)] - Issue has resurfaced that is causing errors on the catalog server. Features may not be accessible for requisitioning and product core users.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 5:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - Issue has been resolved and Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will monitoring server.
