iLab Routine Maintenance - Multiple Instances

On Saturday April 27th, 2024 at 4:30 AM (UTC), routine maintenance has been scheduled for the following iLab server instances and API:

  • iLab Primary U.S.
  • iLab Stanford
  • iLab Canada
  • iLab Europe
  • iLab Australia
  • iLab DFCI
  • Agilent Status Page
  • iLab Content Management
  • iLab Catalog Database

Maintenance is planned for 1 hour and during this time, please take note that user will be experiencing server downtime of no more than 15 minutes. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.

Saturday, February 6th, 2021

iLab Australia iLab Australia Server Migration

On Sunday February 7th, 2021 at 12:00 AM (AEST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be migrating the Australia server instance onto the Agilent Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with PAN Fail-Over. This will increase efficiency and be more secure than the previous instance and affect all iLab sites on the Australia server. Migration is expected for 2 hours, with approximately 1 hour of downtime at the start.

[Sunday February 7th; 3:05 AM (AEST)] - Migration onto new instance has been completed and all sites are operational.

iLab Catalog Database Server Issues

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 2:35 PM (U.S. EST)] - Errors have been found on the server hosting the iLab requisitioning and storeroom features.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 3:00 PM (U.S. EST)] - Agilent Site Reliability Engineers notified of server errors and have begun investigation.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - Agilent Site Reliability Engineers have identified the issue causing the errors and are working to restore server load.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:15 PM (U.S. EST)] - Engineers have restarted the passengers on the server.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - iLab requisitioning functions should be available for users.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 4:55 PM (U.S. EST)] - Issue has resurfaced that is causing errors on the catalog server. Features may not be accessible for requisitioning and product core users.

[Friday February 5th, 2021; 5:05 PM (U.S. EST)] - Issue has been resolved and Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will monitoring server.

iLab Canada iLab Canada Server Migration

On Saturday January 23rd, 2021 at 8:00 PM (CA EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be migrating the Canada server instance onto the Agilent Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with PAN Fail-Over. This will increase efficiency and be more secure than the previous instance and affect all iLab sites on the Canada server. Migration is expected for 2 hours, with approximately 1 hour of downtime at the start.

DCX Server Maintenance - Multiple Instances

On Saturday January 23rd, 2021 at 10 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Engineers will be making updates on the DCX environment hosting the following Agilent databases:

  • iLab Stanford instance
  • iLab Status Page instance
  • iLab Content Management instance
  • iLab ERP Integration File instance
  • Agilent CrossLab Connect Portal

Maintenance is planned for 8 hours and during this time, some content and sites may not be available. iLab content can include image logos, images in descriptions, linked documents and status site.

iLab US iLab U.S. Network Performance - Stanford Only

iLab Stanford site may be seeing some performance issues due to network throughput contention. Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Teams are working to restore performance to normal levels.

[Thursday January 21st; 10:10 AM (U.S. PST)] - Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Teams have resolved the issue and Stanford > site is operating at normal levels.

iLab ERP Server Maintenance - All Sites

On Thursday January 21st, 2021 at 9 AM (UTC), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be migrating the PAN Failover of the ERP server to a new > instance. Maintenance is planned for 30 minutes and during this time, no more than 10 minutes of downtime is expected.

Please note: There should be minimal impact on operations for customers that use our servers for file transfers. If you do not use iLab servers for file transfers you will not be impacted. iLab Sites will remain operational for daily workflow and access.
