iLab US iLab U.S. Server Firewall Update (Except Stanford)

On Sunday December 13th, 2020, at 3 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Team will be updating the PAN Firewall on the iLab U.S. Server for the following nodes:

  • iLab Primary U.S. instance
  • iLab DFCI instance
  • iLab Catalog Database instance

Maintenance is scheduled for 1 hour and there may be some small downtime, during the re-boot.

iLab US Server Maintenance - Multiple Instances

On Saturday December 12th, 2020 at 3 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Engineers will be making updates on the server hosting the following Agilent databases:

  • iLab Stanford instance
  • iLab Status Page instance
  • iLab Content Management instance
  • iLab ERP Integration File instance
  • Agilent CrossLab Connect Portal

Maintenance is planned for 2 hours and during this time, some content and sites may not be available. iLab content can include image logos, images in descriptions, linked documents and status site.

  • Primary and Secondary General U.S. instance
  • Primary and Secondary DFCI instance
  • Catalog Database instance
  • General U.S. API instance
  • General Primary Kiosk instance

Maintenance is planned for 3 hours and during this time, no more than 10 minutes of downtime is expected.

iLab US iLab U.S. Server Memory Upgrade (Except Stanford)

On Tuesday December 8th, 2020 at 2 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be working with the Network Service Provider to upgrade memory on the U.S. primary database instance, which will improve the performance across sites.

Maintenance is planned for 3 hours and during this time, sites may not be operational for about 30 minutes.

iLab US iLab U.S. Server Emergency Maintenance

On Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 11:30 PM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Service Provider will be doing an emergency maintenance on the Primary U.S. server, to restart the > MySQL service. This will help reduce the memory being utilized on the instance.

Maintenance is planned for 15 minutes and during this time, iLab U.S. sites (except DFCI and Stanford) may be unavailable.
