iLab U.S. Server - General Maintenance

On Saturday May 2nd, 2020 at 2 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Service Provider will be doing a routine maintenance on the following nodes, in the U.S. Server:

  • General U.S. instance
  • DFCI instance
  • Catalog Database instance

Maintenance is planned for 3 hours and during this time, no more than 10 minutes of downtime is expected.

Database Server Instance Monitoring - All iLab Servers

On Saturday April 25th at 4 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be monitoring the iLab search index database instance on ALL iLab servers. Monitoring will require a restart of the instance and is planned for 1 hour. During this time, iLab sites will not be operational for 30 minutes.

[Saturday April 25th; 5:07 AM (U.S. EST)] - Monitoring completed. Restart of services did not occur and will happen during next maintenance window.

iLab Canada Server Firewall Updates

On Saturday April 25th at 3:30 AM (EDT), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Team will be doing maintenance on the Firewall tunnel for the Canadian server. Maintenance is planned for 2 hours and during this time, no more than 10 minutes of downtime is expected.

iLab Server Patch - Multiple Instances

On Friday April 3rd, 2020 at 11:30 PM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Service Provider will patch the following servers, to resolve vulnerabilities on the production environment.

  • iLab General North America
  • iLab Stanford
  • iLab Canada
  • iLab EU
  • iLab AU

Maintenance is planned for 2 hours and during this time no downtime is expected, however, sites may experience some instability.

[Saturday April 4th; 1:30 AM (U.S. EST)] - Maintenance completed on AU, Canada, EU and Stanford environments. General North America is still in progress.

[Saturday April 4th; 8:30 AM (U.S. EST)] - Maintenance completed on the General North America instance.
