iLab North American Server Patch Update

On Sunday September 22nd, from 2 AM to 5 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be performing a patch update with the Network Service Provider on the North American server instance for DFCI and Requisitioning. During this time, the iLab site may not be reachable for a small amount of time.

iLab North America iLab North American Site Performance Issues

[Monday April 15th, 2:22 PM] - The iLab North American site is currently experiencing a higher than normal amount of load, and may be causing pages to be slow or unresponsive. iLab Site Reliability Engineers are investigating the cause and will provide an update as soon as possible.

[Monday April 15th, 2:48 PM] - Jobs processing on the back-end are starting drop.

[Monday April 15th, 2:58 PM] - Database error rates within the server have dropped off and returning to normal levels.

[Monday April 15th, 3:05 PM] - iLab Site Reliability Engineers and R&D continuing to monitor system health, as well as investigating root cause.

iLab North American API Server Upgrades, scheduled 5 months ago

On Saturday April 13th, 2019 at 04:30 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be working with our Network Service Provider to update the iLab API servers. iLab customers using the API for any features may experience a decrease in performance for no more than 1 hour.

[UPDATE: Sunday April 14th] - Update to API servers did not occur and will be rescheduled. More information to come.

DFCI iLab Site Unavailable

[Wednesday April 10th, 10:32 AM U.S. EST] - DFCI site was no longer reachable and iLab Site Reliability Engineers began investigation.

[Wednesday April 10th, 12:00 PM U.S. EST] - Ticket opened with Network Service Provider.

[Wednesday April 10th, 2:26 PM U.S. EST] - Issue escalated with Network Service Provider.

[Wednesday April 10th, 2:49 PM U.S. EST] - iLab Site Reliability Engineers able to isolate issue to dfci.ilab.agilent.com URL only and login integration with DFCI network.

[Wednesday April 10th, 3:19 PM U.S. EST] - Issue resolved and tested. iLab DFCI site available for users again.
