iLab Server Instance General Maintenance

On Sunday November 17th, 2019 at 2:00 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Provider will be performing routine maintenance on the North American and DFCI instance, as well as the Catalog Database. Maintenance is planned for 3 hours and during this time, we expect very little downtime, however, expect some general slowness on the site.

iLab Database Update - Australia and Canada

On Tuesday November 19th at 4:00 AM (CA AST)/ 8:00 PM (Sydney), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be updating database tables on the Australia and Canada iLab server instances. There should not be any downtime and updates should be no more than 1 hour.

Tuesday November 12th; 02:54 AM (EST) - API & Kiosk Sites on the iLab EU server are currently not reachable. Agilent Site Reliability Engineers are investigating urgently.

Tuesday November 12th; 03:35 AM (EST) - iLab EU API Sites are reachable again. Kiosk is still not reachable. Agilent Site Reliability Engineers are investigating urgently.

iLab North American and Requisitioning Database Firewall Upgrade, scheduled 2 days ago

On Sunday November 10th at 4 AM (U.S. EST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Engineers will be upgrading the PAN Firewall on the North American instances for the following servers:

  • Full North American iLab suite.
  • DFCI site.
  • Requisitioning Catalog instance.

Maintenance is scheduled for 1 hour and during this time, there should be no more than 15 minutes of downtime, however, sites may be slower than normal, until fully restored.

[Sunday November 10th; 9:10 AM (U.S. EST)]- iLab North American and DFCI sites are currently not accessible. Agilent Network Engineers have rebooted the Firewall and investigating as an urgent matter.

[Sunday November 10th; 10:40 AM (U.S. EST)] - All North American sites and DFCI Instance are operational now. Agilent Site Reliability Engineers will be monitoring activity throughout the day.

iLab North American Server Patch Update, scheduled 1 week ago

On Sunday November 3rd, 2019 at 6:00 AM (UTC) Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and Network Service Provider will be performing a patch update on the following server instances:

  • General North American Server
  • DFCI Platform
  • Requisitioning Catalog

Maintenance is scheduled for 3 hours and during this period, we expect no more than 15 minutes of downtime. Please note that there may be some instability and general slowness on the sites.

[Sunday November 3rd, 2019; 9:00 AM (UTC)] - Patch update has been completed on full North American, DFCI and Requisitioning Catalog instances. Sites are operational.

iLab Stanford Database Migration, scheduled 1 week ago

On Saturday November 2nd, 2019 at 7:30 PM (U.S. PST), Agilent Site Reliability Engineers and the Network Service Provider will be migrating the Stanford instance to a more resilient database. Maintenance is scheduled for 2 hours and during this time, the Stanford iLab application will be inaccessible.

[Saturday November 2nd, 2019; 7:35 PM (U.S. PST)] - Process to migrate Stanford iLab instance has begun and site is currently not available.

[Saturday November 2nd, 2019; 9:35 PM (U.S. PST)] - Process to migrate Stanford iLab instance has been completed and tests show site is fully operational.
